Scan-Speak Revelator tweeter

• 38 mm Scan-Speak Revelator ring dome, SD-2 low distortion neodymium motor system, aluminium voice coil, no ferrofluid

  Features:

  • 1" Ring Dome Diaphragm
  • Small neodymium magnets are placed on a star-shaped pole piece, giving a very open construction which allows free airflow inside the tweeters rear chamber
  • Free airflow inside the tweeter reduces air compressions in the chamber and results in a very smooth and natural sound revealing even the smallest details in the high frequency band

• 25 mm Vifa/Scan-Speak, treated fabric soft dome, wide surround

  Features:

  • 1" Dome Diaphragm

  • Wide Surround: the wider (large roll) surround increases the total active diaphragm area and gives a higher output (sound pressure); the increased area closest to the voice coil gives in combination with its shape a much wider sound dispersion as well as extended high frequency output

Scan-Speak Revelator midbass units

• 180/ 150/ 120 mm Scan-Speak Revelator, sliced paper cone technology, Symmetrical Drive (SD-1) low-distortion motor, low-loss linear suspension

  Sliced Paper Cone:

  • The slices are filled with damping glue, which dramatically reduce break-up modes in the diaphragm
  • In combination with Scan-Speaks Low-Loss Linear Suspension and the patented Symmetrical drive (SD-1) it represented a breakthrough in midrange clarity and overall smooth frequency response characteristics

  Symmetrical Drive (SD-1):

  Low-Loss Linear Suspension:

  • Having the moving parts (cone, dust cap, spider and voice coil) soft suspended opens the ability to move easily and fast, also when signal levels are low
  • The desired result is a driver which reproduces not only the main signal perfect, but also the smallest transients are reproduced with care for detail
